Coach yourself with a Pen – Three-session course (1.5 hours/session)

Not everyone has the luxury of a coach, and even when people do, they’re not available 24/7 (unless they’re very, very expensive). Coach yourself with a Pen is an experiential and dynamic course that gives you simple tools and life-long skills to help you coach yourself to:

  • Get clarity on and achieve goals

  • Monitor progress

  • Deal with 'in the moment' challenges

  • Remove blocks to action and lots more.

It will give you:

  • An understanding of coaching principles

  • An introduction to journaling principles

  • Hands-on experience of coaching yourself using a live example

  • Access to inner resources and innate creativity

This course will leave you with:

  • Life-long, easy to use tools and techniques 

  • Headspace and next steps for an existing goal/issue​

  • A way to surface insights and perspectives

  • Energy and inspiration

​Suitable for everyone - no grammar or spelling required - the course consists of free-writing prompts and writing exercises which get people's pens moving and minds opening. There's also plenty of discussion with the group for further insight. All you need is a pen and some paper.

Courses take place over three 1.5 hour sessions on Zoom

£1200 (max 12 participants). Concessions available. In person can be arranged.

Creative Journaling for success - Three-session course (1.5hours/session)

We all have inner resources and innate creativity just dying to be invited out to play and to help us live the life we want, at home and at work/in business. Creative journaling for Success gives you easy to use tools to help: 

  • Get clear on and achieve goals

  • Be more productive

  • Get motivated and focused

  • Build resilience and support wellbeing

  • Learn and reflect

Suitable for leaders and teams alike, this lively course will:

  • Introduce you to creative journaling techniques and exercises  

  • Give you access to inner resources and innate creativity

  • Provide you with tips and advice to get started and keep journaling

  • Give you experience of creative group journaling

When I first joined Claire’s course, I hadn’t written more than a creative sentence or two in more than five years (possibly more). As I worked through the various prompts and ideas Claire shared and taught me, I began to explore writing freely in my own time, especially journaling which helped me release a lot of the blocks I was experiencing in other parts of my life. It is quite by coincidence that on a recent call with Claire, I looked at my book shelf and realised that I had written in and finished over half a dozen large sized notebooks, cover to cover! This transformation from blocked to being set free has been the result of work done just over weekends and a few extra sessions over less than a year. I am truly grateful for, what some of my fellow participants refer to as, “Claire-Magic!


​This course will leave you with life-long skills you can use to: Make decisions, get clarity and focus, brainstorm ideas, surface perspectives and insights, ground yourself and be mindful, build creative confidence, be more productive and lots more.

Write for your Life sessions – between 1 – 2 hours

WFYL sessions are made up of writing exercises (suitable for all) and discussion. 

Write for your Life sessions can be used to: 

  • Build teams

  • Break ice

  • Develop vision and mission

  • Explore topics

  • Take some time to reflect, connect and have fun

​You'll leave with: Creative confidence, inspiration and energy, new life-skills, clarity and focus, ​perspectives and insights, headspace and access to your inner resources.
